Brief Answer:
Gout

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

I am sorry to hear that you are having pain in your right foot with swelling. I assume that there is no trauma or injury associated with the pain and swelling. Since the pain always is in the same foot I would think that you may have gout. This is where you have too high uric acid. The treatment would be colchicine with an NSAID or prednisone. I would recommend that you see your medical provider and be tested for gout and treated.

In the future we recommend eating a diet lower in red meats and shell fish as these can elevate uric acid levels. Also alcohol can affect levels too

I hope this answers your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
