Question: For the last 4 months I have been experiencing pain and burning starting at a spot on my upper arm. Then moved to my feet, legs and whole arm. Went to emergency room, er doctor sent me to a dermotologist, that doctor thought it wasn't my skin but some kind of reaction in my body. Did blood work nothing showed up. Brief Answer:
Nerve conduction studies and CT brain needed to come to definite diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank You for trusting HealthcareMagic

Since you have been experiencing numbness for 4 months now, further evaluation is required.
Since blood work have already been done, I believe that thyroid problems, vitamin, calcium deficiencies and diabetes have already been ruled out as a cause.

Nerve conduction studies to look for nerve problems (eg: demyleniating disorders like multiple sclerosis, inflammatory neuropathy etc) ,CT brain (to look for stroke ) are required to come to a definite diagnosis

Please be advised to follow up with a primary care provider ,to get necessary evaluation done

Hope I was able to help you
