What Causes Numbness On Face, Forehead And Nausea While On Paxidep?
Question: Hi - ive been diagnosed with major depression and have been on paxidep sr 12.5 mg -for more than two months. recently ive started feeling numbness on the face and forehead and slight nausea. What do you recommend i shoulf do. Pls confirm that this chat is covered by doctor patient confidentiality anf will not be published on the net

Nausea and numbness has been there for 4-5 days, i do have a headache for the same period. Ive also had lower back pain but not sure if its related. Ive been suffering from depresson since 2012 - i think it was linked to childbirth. I am not taking any other meds. Initally - during the first 1-1.5 months- i felt better with the medicine.

From the available description it appears that the current symptoms are part of depression as long standing untreated depression results in vague somatization symptoms through out body.
In my view they will respond to increase n dose of paxidep as 12.5 mg is much lower dose for a depression existing for three to four years. This is also evidenced by symptom relief in first one and half month but decreased responsiveness over the last few weeks and pain symptoms for last four to five days.
For you I think you can increase it to one and half tablet of 12.5 mg for next two weeks.
