What Causes Numbness In Little Finger?

Question: I woke up and my left pink is numb, along with the finger next to it a little. It doesnt seem to be gling away. I can still move it, but no feeling.

As from your description it looks like there may be the infection or the peripheral neuropathy.
Please upload the picture for better diagnosis.
Till then you can take multivitamin and painkiller like brufen , paracetamol.
Physical therapy and splint will help.

It went away within a couple of hours and has not returned. I stretched and ran a couple of miles and it was gone.

Thanks for the follow up.
This type of thing happens when there is inadequate blood supply to the part of the body.
It may be raynods phenomenon or neuropathy.
Physiotherapy and cessatin of smoking may help.
You need to do EMG to rule out peripheral neuropathy.
See a doctor for that.
