Question: I have a nerve problenin may left leg and its like the leg is dead and my dr is having me do iviv infusion

1 Ihave been having the problem since mid August
2 only the left leg is invovled
3 I had problem walking
4 Yes I had estrogen booster shots, I have been getting those ever two weeks for about a year
5 Yes i'm talking about ivig I have had two five day three hour infussions twice and another one scheduled for mid Oct

Dear Friend.
Only one leg involvement is not a sign of any Autoimmune disease for which you are being given IVIG.
Could you explain me why are you being given this and what disease has been labelled by your doctor.
For such type of asymmetric leg weakness most important is to get MRI Spine done to rule out any nerve compression or diseases like Cauda Equine Syndrome.
If you had any Intramuscular injection in thighs of that leg only then you would require Nerve Conduction Velocity testing. As many times intramuscular injections can cause nerve injury and such complications.

the regular shots I,mgetting evey two weeks is testtassarone the mri's of the spine and the left leg hip show the femeral sensor with a problem. If you wish to look at the mri you could go to the du page medical group and you have my permission
