What Causes Numbness In Left Hand While Lying Down?

Question: my left hand went to sleep while I was lying down, it was not blocked or cramped or pinched or any pressure applied that might have caused this numbness. I have Afib and am concerned about a clot.

You are right about the risk of transitory ischemic attack or stroke. Since you are suffering from atrial fibrillation these two complication are very common.

If you were my patient I would recommend to contact a neurologist for further examinations to exclude any neurologic complication.
