Paresthesia...

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thank you for posting.

I have gone through your query and I understand your concerns.

His symptoms are suggestive of Paresthesia. Paresthesia is an abnormal sensation, typically numbness and tingling. The most common cases Paresthesia is caused by Vitamin B deficiency, Diabetes mellitus, Neck arthritis and Hypothyroidism. Treatment of this disease depends on the diagnosis.

To determine the diagnosis he needs:
- Neck X-ray, to rule out neck arthritis.
- Glucose test for Diabetes mellitus.
- Electrocardiogram, to rule out cardiac problems.
- Thyroid function tests.
- Complete blood count.

You should contact your neurologist to discuss about the treatment.

Let me know if you need clarifications.

All the best.
