Brief Answer:
Supportive care

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern . With history of IBS constipation predominant, gastric discomfort, epigastric pain, spasm around neck muscles are all correlated and due to bowel involvement. Also at age of 62 age related functional decline of bowel reduces the bowel performance and adds to IBS flares. Anxiety is also playing role.

Its good that your symptoms have reduced. nausea needs symptomatic treatment with gastric motility enhancers like itopride, metoclopramide or domperidone etc. Modify diet and lifestyle, Eat small frequent meals. Avoid triggers like spices, wine, alcohol, soda, beverages, processed and canned foods. Eat more fiber and fluids and prefer natural fresh foods and vegetables. Take yogurt and peppermint with every meal. Former is probiotic and later is antispasmodic.

Nutshell, its age related bowel functions decline and needs supportive care. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
