What Causes Nausea, Chills And Loss Of Appetite?

Question: I have had a PSA procedure done 3 weeks ago and continue to have complications. Two days after the procedure, I had chills, nausea and loss of appetite. Went back to the urologist who did the procedure and gave me additional antibiotics. These symptoms are now gone, but continue to have pain in the pelvic area and also tender and swollen testicle, and pain. Any thoughts. Thanks. VA

Pain, swelling in the scrotum and pelvic area is suggestive of Epididymoorchitis.
Epididymoorchitis is the infection and inflammation of testis and associated tubes.

Urological procedure can predispose a person to such infection.
Urine analysis and culture is needed.
Treatment is with antibiotics like Bactrim,levofloxacin.

Please be advised to follow up with your urologist to confirm the diagnosis and treatment.

Meanwhile, you can take Advil for pain.
