Brief Answer:
This is normal. Dont worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for your query.

I have read you query and I understand your concerns about periods.

Following is my reply:

1) It takes time for regularization of periods.

2) When you are breast feeding, it takes time for periods to regularize.

3) It might take between one to one and half years for periods to become regularized especially when you are breast feeding.

4) This is normal phenomenon of having spotting for a day to begin with.

5) This has nothing to do with PCOS or weight, Weight loss would help for periods to return soon though.

6) No need to take any medicine for another 6 months.

I hope I answered you query and addressed your concerns.

Let me know if you wish to ask any further questions. I will be glad to help you.

Regards,
Dr. Soumya
