Brief Answer:
Wait for your periods for next 3-4 days.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
You have taken Deviry till 30th XXXXXXX The withdrawal bleeding can take 5-7 days to start. Right now it is best to wait for few more days to get your periods.
Since you have been diagnosed with PCOD the best way to get regular period is to take regular contraceptive pills or get an intrauterine device to regularize your periods with minimal side effects.
You need to continue taking metformin to upregulate the hormone receptors.
In case you want to plan for a pregnancy then ovulation inducing drugs are needed. Do consult a proficient infertility specialist in that case.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Thank u doc for the reply.
anyways i am going to wait till thursday, 10th of july, to get my periods.
If till then, i dont get my periods, what should i do? any more medications to be taken? i feel very restless and irritable if i dont get my periods on time. so tis is my major concern doctor. Ii dont want another baby. so pregnancy is ruled out.

Also , if i get my periods, which contraceptive i best for me to have regular periods and not gain weight? Sometimes i also suffer form water retention. IF YOU CAN PRESCRIBE MEDICINE FOR THAT ALSO, it will be helpful/
So, for now my major concerns are:
1. If no periods till 10th july, what medication to take?
2. Iif i get my periods, what contraceptives to take?
3. Medicine for water retention/

Brief Answer:
Details below.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If you do not get periods by 10th then you need to have investigations like serum prolactin TSH and HCG levels to find the cause of delay. Going for another cycle of higher dose hormonal pills will help.
After the periods are over you need to have a regular low dose contraceptive like Ovral-L but it is best to get it prescribed by your gynecologist who after a detailed examination can exclude the contraindications.
Taking regular contraceptive will help in decreasing the water retention. You will not need a separate treatment for that.
Hope my answer is helpful.
