Posted on Wed, 7 Dec 2016
Question: My normal heart rate has suddenly dropped from what it is normally. My resting heart rate is normally 72 and my heart rate in the day time is around 80-95 bpm. Early this morning I starting getting very light headed and dizzy and my heart rate has gone as low as 56 and a high of 70 when walking and I feel very dizzy, almost drunk feeling.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms may be related to:
- Cardiac arrhythmia
- Neurological disorders (especially cerebellar disorders)
- Side effects of medical treatment.

Sincethe HR has been between 56-70 bpm the dizziness isn't related to bradycardia (low HR).

If you were my patient I would recommend to go to to ER to exclude any life threatening situation (arrhythmia).

hope this will be of help!
Wish you health!
