Question: I M ON ANTLIOBTICS FOR AN INGROWN TOENAIL ANDHAVE ANTI INFLAMATORIES FOR A NECK STIFFNESS WHICH DID HAVE SPASMS AND I AM TAKING CLARYNTYNE FOR SINUS PROBLEM

I AM A PERSON WHO TAKES NO MEDICATIONS SO AM FEELING QUITE LOUSY MY NECK IS STIFF ON THE LEFT SIDE AND MY EAR IS NUMB AND MAYBE FEELS LIKE THERE IS SOMETHING IN IT \

Substitute Levocet for Claryntyne

Detailed Answer:
Hi Mam,

I understand your query and concern.

This lousy feel which you are currently experiencing are due to the side effects of Claryntyne which you are using for sinus problem.

This drug is long acting and known to cause excessive sedation and sedation of mental slowing.

I recommend that you go for shorter acting drugs like levocet instead, after consulting your doctor.

I advise you to have a complete otoscopic examination of ear to evaluate the impact of sinus infection on ear.

Also Sinus problem is specifically cured by FESS/functional endoscopic sinus surgery. Consult your doctor with regards to this.

Also you can currently continue the antibiotics for ingrown nail.

Regarding neck stiffness ,if persistent you need to have an MRI cervical spine to rule out disc prolapse.
