Brief Answer:
Side effect

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your message.
I think I can help you.
The symptoms of the query are quite suggestive of a possible side effects of metformin.
This is a component of the tablet galvus met.
It's a known side effect of the medicine.

I would suggest continuing the same formula of medicines since the sugar levels seem to have improved.
Most patients feel better once you get used to the tablet which may take 15 to 20 days.
If it's persisting you will need to reduce the dose (under medical supervision ) and gradually return to the normal dose.
If that doesn't help you will need to divide the medicine and try a SR dose of the medicine. galvus part of the medicine will need to be taken Separately.
If this doesn't help, then you can consider stopping the medicine.

I felt this is what was your main concern. If you want to know anything else, please feel free to contact us for more information.

I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal.
