1. avoid milk and milk products
2. Probiotics like sporolac three times a day will help reduce loose stools
3. for pain I recommend that you take tab hyoscine butylbromide twice a day. It popularly comes as tab buscopan
4. keep yourself well hydrated with water
If the symptoms don't resolve you will need treatment with antibiotics like ciprofloxacin twice daily for 5 days
