Brief Answer:
Fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It is looking like fungal infection.
I treat such cases with topical antifungals like clotrimazole and oral flaconazole tablet.
This gives excellent response within a week.
You can try this in consultation with your doctor.
Let me know if you have any other doubt.
Thank you

This is a follow up regarding fungal infection . Per ur recommendation I took tab Diflucan 150 mg and using Clotrimazol Betamethasone Dipropionate 1%/0.05%.(base) twice a day ( morning and evening)
.It looks like the tretment is working :) i still have minor itch, but the bumps r smaller and darker .
I have couple of questions:
1. Is this condition contageous? I sleep in the same bed with my 6 y old daughther and dont want her to catch that from me..
2. Shall i repeat tab Diflucan in 3 days or one tab is enough?
And for how long shall i apply topical
cream?
3. What could possibly cause this infection?
It happened after i took Z-pack ( Azithromax 500mg) 3day for sore troat..

Brief Answer:
Continue treatment for 1 months

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Take the tablet weekly for four weeks.
Continue cream for one month.
Yes it is contagious but gets transmitted mainly through towels and clothes.
It is an infection and mainly happens due to growth of fungus in excessive sweating areas.
There is no relation with azithromycin.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.

Hi doctor. Thank you for answering my previous questions. I have some more:
1. How do i make sure that i dont catch that infection again from the cloths i wore when it was in active stage? Is the simple washing/laundry will kill the fungus? And i actually wore leather pants when it started, so will the dry cleaning kill the fungus?
2. Can i stop oral and topical treatment earlier than 4 weeks if all the simptoms disapper?
