What Causes Itching Sensation In Shoulder Post Vacation Trip?
Question: I vacationed in the Riviera XXXXXXX From April 5th-the 10th...shortly after I noticed I was itching like crazy on my right shoulder. Now I have a rash on my right shoulder, my left shoulder and last week I had a pimple-y type of rash on my neck. I have been using a cortisone cream and it lessons the itching...The rash went away on my neck, but seems to by more itchy today on my shoulders

there could be a number of causes for your complaint. i would be in a better position to guide you anything if you answer following questions please:
1. please share a clear image of the rash
2. does itch occur on any other part of the body as well?
3. is anyone else in the family also having yhis problem?
4. are you on any medication?
5. do you or anyone in the family has history of diabetes, hypertension or any other illness?
6. any other symptom that you would like to share?

I could not get a clear picture of it. It is not super noticeable. It does not itch anywhere else on my body

Thank you for getting back with the answers. I have gone through them. Your symptoms are suggesting allergic reaction which could be from any cause like dust, insect bite, food, etc. It usually takes few days to resolve completely. If i were your treating doctor then i would have advised following things:
- cetirizine one at night for 5 days.
- Don't take very warm shower.
- Change your clothing/bedding thoroughly.
