What Causes Itchiness All Over Body With Normal Blood Work?

Question: Please I need help. This all started last weekend. My girlfriend is 32 weeks pregnant. Last weekend I took her to the hospital due to pain on her right side. I do not like hopitals, and get very worried when I'm there. She stayed there for a day and a half and go released late Monday night. Before I go any further, I wanted to mention I suffer from bad stress and anxiety, and I'm currently on Lexapro for it. During the afternoon on sunday, I felt myself get really itchy. Not a bad itch, but more of the sensation of it. This has been going on for about a week now. I thought it may have been the laundry detergent that I was using cause it was a different one, and maybe that's what it ism I went to the doctor 2 days ago, and she looked at me like I was crazy. I'm a very bad hypocondriac. I had blood work done in July and everything came back normal. I have a fear of dying and I search the Internet for everything. Do you think I have kidney failure, liver failure, lymphoma, or leukemia? It says itching can be a cause of all of those things. The itching has gotten better the past couple days but is still there. Please help. Could stress and anxiety cause this? I never had this symptom before because of stress. I'm scared. Thanks for your help

Brief Answer:
Mostly it is due to anxiety

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,

Thank you for your query.

First of all I would like to know since when you have anxiety and since when you are on escitalopram and in what dose?

yes, it may be due to anxiety or it may be due to allergy due to changing of soap.
Is there perspiration you have? because perspiration also the reason for itching.

Not to worry regarding other disease because kidney failure, lover failure, lymphoma and leukemia has many symptoms and not itching as primary symptom.

Just complete the course as suggested by doctor and you will improve.

If you have anxiety symptoms even if you are on escitalopram need to change medication.

There are many other medication which help you to overcome anxiety like desvenlaflexine, venlaflexine, paroxetine etcc and also benzodiazepins like clonazepam , lorazepam etc..

Awaiting your response.
Thank you
