What Causes Irritation And Discoloration In Glans Penis?
Question: Hello there. Please see my previous inquiries as this relates to the same issue.
Its now been 6 weeks since ive had the irritation/discoloration in my glans penis. I dont believe that the clotrimozole is working. Ive also been trying Aveeno lotion 2 or 3 times a day, which improves its appearance a bit but then it seems to go back to how it looked. I havent had sex during this time and i try to keep the masturbation to 1-2 times a week so as not to irritate it further.
Again, no itching or pain or feeling of any kind. When i run my finger over the area, it does not feel scratchy or bumpy. I know ive been told that it is nothing to worry about but i dont like the look of it, and its worrying me that its been there for 6 weeks, which feels like a very long time.
Is there anything else that you suggest i try? Will this ever heal and go back to looking normal? I would very much like this problem to go away!

I have reviewed the recent images and I am of the view that application of either topical plain antibiotic ointment e. g 2% mupirocin ointment Or an antibiotic + steroid combination ointment e.g 2% mupirocin + fluticasone propionate 0.05% ointment, is all that would be required in this case. This doesn't look like a fungal infection and therefore I don't think it would improve with clotrimazole cream.
