Brief Answer: Further investigations&details needed... Detailed Answer: Hi, I have gone through your query and understood your concerns. What you are experiencing might be related to heart arrhythmia. I suggest to consult your doctor as soon as possible and to run further examinations : - EKG - cardiac echo - chest X-ray Depending on the test results, specific treatment will be prescribed. Meanwhile, i suggest to: - monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar levels - avoid coffee/energetic drinks - eat healthy - drink more water I want also to know: - is this the first episode you are having such "funny" feeling? - are you expecting your periods in the next days? - are you having a tensed period of time (work overload/anxiety/stress)? - do you smoke/or drink alcohol? - have a family history of heart problems? - do you have a previous history of arthritis problems? Looking forward to have the requested data in! Thank you! Dr.Albana

Brief Answer: Get your heart&pulmones checked ASAP... Detailed Answer: Hi back, Thank you for following up. You are saying to use a birth control pill. Continuous (long-term) use of birth control pills is associated with increased risk for blood clots. As you are reporting tightness in your chest, I highly recommend to get checked by a physician as soon as possible and to run chest X-ray to exclude pulmonary and cardiac problems. You are saying to have quit cigarette since 20 days. The symptoms you are having might be also related to quitting cigarettes. However, should exclude cardiac and pulmonary problems first. Hope it was of help! Please let me know if you have further queries! Dr.Albana
