Brief Answer:
Get Medical Help.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Mam.
Welcome To HCM. I am Dr Anshul Varshney.
I understand your concern.
Since you are hypothyroid and Hypertensive at this age these intermittent pains can be of cardiac origin. I mean they can be due to Heart attack or Angina.
I am not saying you have one but you have to be sure by getting immediately an ECG.
Ask for medical help. Go to nearby hospital.
If you are comfortable in answering I need to know a few more details:
1. Since when are you having these pains / compressions?
2. Any radiation of pain to arm or neck?
3. Any sweating associated?
4. Any breathlessness?
5. Pains are intermittent or persistent?
I would like you to answer these questions only if you are in a perfect state to answer. Else you should attention ER.

Brief Answer:
Get ECG.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
It's not essential that one would a heart issue will always have pain. Intermittent spasms can be a sign of cardiac issues.
Getting an ECG is must.
Anginal pains also comes this way only. Don't take this lightly as you have many risk factors that can precipitate cardiac condition.
Get investigated.
