Posted on Fri, 8 Jul 2016
Question: My granddaughter is 3 years old. She had fever on and off for a few days. Give her Tylenol and it goes away. Is there something going around. Should we take her to emergency room or just wait and take her to her doctor. Her fever is between 99 and 102 when her fever comes back.

Brief Answer:
Needs work up and management

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. if fever is recurrent and not responding to tylenol, she needs work up to find focus of infection and then treatment with antibiotics accordingly. So i would recommend visit to a paediatrician, let them have a look and manage accordingly after complete clinical correlation.

I hope it helps. Take good care of her and your self and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
