Brief Answer:
Hyperacidity could be related...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Headache is known to occur in individuals suffering with hyperacidity and GERD; however I might also be wrong to label GERD as the lone cause of this headache. It is definitely not easy to diagnose cause of headache even with extensive investigation. Therefore without an opportunity to examine you in person, I have limited scope to diagnose you.

That being said, if you have had similar headaches in the past, perhaps you can take another dose of tylenol (Max upto 1000mg) along with antacids/prilosec and rest well. But if this is the first episode of intense headache, you should consider visiting ER / urgent care clinic.

Let me know if you have a problem with seeing a doctor/ER now; we can discuss other feasible options then.

Regards
