Brief Answer:
No semen could be due to retrograde ejaculation

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
Inability to ejaculate semen despite normal sexual drive and erection could be due to retrograde ejaculation.
Retrograde ejaculation is a condition wherein the semen is redirected into the urinary bladder instead of directed into the urethra.
Retrograde ejaculation can occur in hypertension, diabetes mellitus, autonomic disorders affecting the bladder sphincter, previous surgery etc.
Thus, first it is important to rule out retrograde ejaculation.
A urine analysis is indicated at this point of time.
If sperms are detected in the urine sample, it is probably due to retrograde ejaculation.
Thus, I suggest you to go for urine analysis.
Depending on the result of urine analysis further action will be decided.

Thanks

thank you for the answer

I should also mention I went to the doctor 6 weeks prior for pain while urinating and I recieved the antibiotic bactum, the pain went away and then returned in a moderate form, I went to the doctor the other day he gave me a urinalysis, he didnt mention anything about sperm in the urine, he then perscribe the cipro which I am taking now. I do not have any pain at this point.

Brief Answer:
Repeat urine analysis to look for sperms

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The urine test which you took up previously showed infection in the urinary tract.
You were prescribed antibiotic for the infection.
However, you can get a repeat urine analysis specifically asking to look for sperms in semen.

Thanks

Brief Answer:
Retrograde ejaculation- due to autonomic disorders

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
Retrograde ejaculation is one of the possibility of absence of ejaculate.
It is caused by various conditions like autonomic disorders, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, previous surgery etc.
Other cause of absence of ejaculate is obstruction in the reproductive tract.
Thus, clinical examination and relevant investigations are required to assess the genital tract.
