Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that your symptoms could be related to different possible causes like: cardiac arrhythmia, anxiety, an electrolyte imbalance or thyroid dysfunction.

For this reason, i would recommend consulting with your attending physician for a careful physical exam and some tests:

- a resting ECG
- complete blood count for anemia
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid imbalance
- blood electrolytes for possible imbalance.

An ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring would also help exclude possible cardiac arrhythmia.

Meanwhile, I recommend you to closely monitor your blood pressure frequently during the day. Blood pressure fluctuations could also mimic this clinical scenario.

You should discuss with your doctor on the above issues.

Hope to have been helpful!

Kind regards,

Dr. Iliri
