What Causes Higher-than-normal Levels Of These Liver Enzymes?
If no symptoms, this has not much relevance.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.
I am Dr Rakesh Sharma answering your query.
I can understand your concern.
it must be emphasized that higher-than-normal levels of these liver enzymes should not be automatically equated with liver disease. They may mean liver problems or they may not. For example, elevations of these enzymes can occur with muscle damage. The interpretation of elevated enzymes results depends upon the entire clinical evaluation of an individual, and so it is best done by physicians experienced in evaluating liver disease and muscle disease.
So if you have no symptoms it has very less or not relevant.
My advice is to see a doctor , who will examine you clinically, and advice you how to go about it, and will keep following it.
Hope I have answered your query.
If any thing else you are welcome.
Good luck.
