What causes high fever that do not respond to cold sponging?

Question: Seven year old daughter has had a high fever for two days now, 103-104. no other symptoms. Goes down after a cool bath and medicine, but not for long, maybe one hour. Rotating tylenol ans mortion every two hours. just worried, fever seems high.

I read your question and I understand your concern. High grade Fever of 103 for the last two days not responding to cold sponging and Tylenol etc is worth assessment and workup.
