Hello!
Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully passed through your question and would explain that your symptoms are not related to any cardiac disorders.

So relax and don't worry about it!

A musculo- skeletal pain or inflammation (including costochondritis) could explain this symptomatology. The fact that the pain is modulated by body motion is another argument in favor of these possible causes.

I would recommend starting ibuprofen 400 mg three times daily for the pain. The relief of the symptoms from this drug would indicate one of the above causes.

A chest XRay study coupled with inflammation tests ( complete blood count, PCR, ESR) would help investigate for costochondritis. If this diagnosis is confirmed you may need to be treated for some days with ibuprofen.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

Hello again!

Thank you for the additional information!

Anxiety could also trigger these symptoms. Considering the fact that you had nausea in the beginning of your symptoms, I would recommend also considering gastro-esophageal reflux as one of the possible underlying causes.

For this purpose, if your symptoms are not relieved by ibuprofen, I would recommend trying an anti-acid or a PPI (omeprazole, pantoprazole, etc.). If your symptoms are relieved by these drugs, it would indicate possible gastritis or gastro-esophageal reflux.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
