Brief Answer:
may be physiological; monitor your blood pressure.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I can understand your concerns.

I would like to tell you that mild headache and occasional swelling of feet is common during pregnancy.

I have some suggestions for you:
1. Keep a regular check on your blood pressure. Altered blood pressure is a common reason for swelling.
2. Keep your feet slightly elevated of the bed while sleeping. You can keep a pillow under your feet while you sleep.
3. Do not stand for long durations.
4. Do not sit with hanging legs. Keep a stool under your feet whiel you sit.

These simple steps will help to reduce the swelling and it will not increase as well.

If the headache is intolerable, tablet paracetamol can help.

Keep a regular follow-up with your obstetrician.

Hope this helps.

Feel free to ask further.

Brief Answer:
backache is common during pregnancy.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the follow-up query.

Yes, back pain is also common in pregnancy.

Some common reasons are:
a. weight gain.
b. posture changes.
c. stretching of muscles and laxing of ligaments.

You can practice following tips to avoid back pain:
1. Regular Walking is the best exercise.
2. Improve your posture. Try to sit straight and with support.
3. Apply hot compresses.
4. If you need to pick something up from the ground, use your legs to squat rather than bend over.
5. Don't wear high-heeled shoes.
6. Don't sleep on your back. Sleep on left lateral side.
7. Again, tablet paracetamol can help if backache is intolerable.

Hope this helps.

Brief Answer:
take green vegetables and fruits.

Detailed Answer:
Whole grains, fruits and vegetables, legumes, and low-fat dairy products should form the main bulk of your pregnancy diet.

Some common foods to avoid are:
1. soft cheese
2. bakery products, unpasteurized milk.
3. undercooked foods.
4. caffeinated substances like tea (including green tea) coffee and chocolates.
5. papaya and pineapple (in fruits).
6. sprouts.

If you have a known allergy to some food, you should also avoid that.

Hope this helps.
