What Causes Frequent Urination?

default
Posted on Fri, 12 Dec 2014
Question: I have been increasing water to match my weight. I'm 173 lbs and it's says I should drink 80 ounces of water a day. I can't hardly get that much in because I constantly have to urinate after drinking a bottle of water. What's does this mean? I'm not a big veggie eater either

Brief Answer:
This is normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Excreting urine after taking a bottle of water is a normal finding. Taking too much of water is not harmful at all. On the contrary it will help in detoxification.
You can get your blood glucose levels evaluated to rule out any metabolic disorder.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
