Brief Answer:
Lactose free food and milk.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for writing to us.
If the baby is play full, active, having no fever, passing good amount of urine, and stools tests being normal, then there is nothing to worry.
How ever I would recommend one more stool test- stool for reducing substances.
If it is positive , then all food containing lactose should be avoided till the loose stools stops. The foods include- mothers milk, formula milk, dairy products, fruits and sweets.
So kindly re visit your doctor and review with him for better results. Hope I have cleared your queries, thank you.

Brief Answer:
Transient, occasional.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, thanks for the follow up.
Lactose intolerance can occur any time, it ll be only for a transient period of time and not permanent . So if by this time your baby is still having diarrhea, then kindly get the above test done and review. Thank you, regards.
