Brief Answer:
It is normal

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for asking on HealthCareMagic.

I have gone through the details as well as the image attached. Let me assure you that for a child of this age, passing stool as high as 10 times a day is equally normal as passing stool once in 10 days and in either case you need not worry. A child may pass stool after each feed and that is normal too. The stool consistency seems pretty normal to me. All you need to do is to increase the amount of breast feed if you feel the frequency of urine is coming down. Let me assure you that breast milk is the best food for a baby other formula milks cannot be substitutes. Formula feeds can lead to change in stool consistency and are difficult to digest. If you can switch back to breast milk, the amount will automatically increase as it is dependent on the suck of the baby which occurs more if the child is hungry.

Sorry doctor
But I ve updated two more pics and feel these stools have mucus and even colour is greenish yellow
I m giving her just breast feed from today
She was born on 4 th oct with 2560 gram weight and her weight on 28th nov was 4250 grams

What should be her ideal weight ?

Also when does the baby start rolling her body ? I mean how many months or weeks after birth
My best regards

Brief Answer:
Greenish stools normal

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. It is good to hear that you are switching to exclusive breast feeding. Please be reassured that greenish stools are normal and not a cause of worry. It occurs due to rapid transit of faecal matter through the large intestine.

There is nothing called ideal weight for a 2 month old child. It simply depends on the birth weight which initially drops and then is regained around 2 weeks of age following which there is a 10-50 gm weight gaining on daily basis. Probably you have made a mistake in mentioning the weight but surely you can get an idea.

Generally a child is able to roll to side around 6 months of age. You can get an idea about the developmental milestones by visiting the following link.

Can u see mucus? Or is the stool in picture normal ? I hope there is nothing to worry seeing the picture of the stool?

Brief Answer:
Have seen the images... Both are normal

Detailed Answer:
I have seen the images and it looks pretty normal to me. The mucus is not a cause for concern. 30 gm of weight gain per day is perfectly reasonable. Rest assured that there is nothing to worry. Just continue breast feeding the baby.
