Brief Answer:
Need calcium and Vit. D3 supplements.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The flu like symptoms and fatigue that you are having is not likely to be related to the fracture that you had. It is more likely to be related to generalized weakness or a vitamin D3 deficiency.
I would advise that you support your body with good hydration, adequate sleep, a well-balanced diet and a moderate exercise regimen. Exercise is actually good for the immune system which is why I suggest it here. In addition you can supplement your diet with some Vitamin C - 1000 mg daily and consider drinking some immune boost type of tea such as Echinacea which is readily available at most supermarkets. Do start taking adequate calcium and Vitamin D3 supplemets also after consulting your physician.

I expect your symptoms to gradually level off and improve over the next 2-3weeks. In the event that this does not occur, I suggest you visit with your primary physician for a complete physical exam and possibly some blood work as well. In the meantime, try not to worry about this and focus on maintaining good health as I have recommended with diet, fluid intake and exercise as well as adequate sleep (7-9 hours per night).

I hope this answers your query.

Hello,
Thanks for your advise. I really liked it as I believe in nutrition to heal.
I am taking D3 supplements as my D3 levels have been low for few years.
I will increase my vitamin C and calcium intake.
Please advise what kind of exercise do you suggest at end of week 5 for this injury as I am scared and do not know which would be the right exercise to do.
I appreciate your advise.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Do passive stretching.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
At the end of week 5 it is best to do slight stretching and passive leg movements with the help of a physiotherapist. Avoid all painful movements. Doing a hot fomentation will also help in relieving the stiffness and will hasten healing.
Hope my answer is helpful.
