Brief Answer:
No chance of it getting into lungs.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

This something stuck feeling could be either due to some throat irritation or esophagitis as you had your bay leaf or onion skin into food pipe during eating. It may not get stuck into esophagus (food pipe) rather it must have gone inside stomach giving behind feeling of something stuck in throat.

So,no need to vomit it out.

Generally, this type of feeling could be temporary and may get subsided by itself without any specific treatment.

It could be due to nervous stimulation which may last up to 24 to 48 hours,so there isn't anything to be worried here.

And if you are breathing fine then there is no chance of it getting into lungs.

If this feeling does not subside (but chances are less) even after 48 hours ,then i would advise you to see an ENT specialist who will examine you thoroughly with pharyngoscopy to detect the underlying cause, mainly to check if there is any infection or swelling inside.

Meanwhile, you can take symptomatic treatment like anti-emetics (domstal or ondasetron if there is nausea) or antihistamines (levocetrizine) which are available over the counter.
