Brief Answer:
Could be esophagitis or Mallory-Weiss syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

if by reflux you meant vomiting then it could be Mallory-Weiss syndrome which is a tear on the esophagus because of excessive vomiting. This is considered a benign condition that usually heals by itself when vomiting stops.
If you meant reflux of gastric contents without vomiting then it could be esophagitis due to the effect of stomach acids to the esophagus. The esophagus cannot tolerate the stomach acidity and may get injured and even bleed.

I can't say what happened to you. I can only say that upper gastrointestinal endscopy is warranted to clarify your situation. Your doctor should check your vital signs first to make sure that you don't have signs of a big blood loss. Omeprazole definitely helps in such situations.

I hope I've helped!
