Question: my sister in law has stage IV breast cancer with bone mets. shes receives chemo and has went thru two rounds of radiation. she was diagnosed a yr ago. since then only 1 new spot has been found. she has extremely high blood pressure and diabetes. shes recently started complaining of a headache with non sharp pain and dizziness. she had a full body scan 3 months ago. could the disease have spread to her brain that fast. she was responding well to chemo

I understand your concern.
See, it seems her problem of headache and dizziness is due to high Blood pressure. She should be starred on treatment for high BP immediately. Once the BP is controlled, she will feel better. But getting a MRI Brain is essential as she has metastatic cancer. You never know that despite of reciving and responding to chemotherapy , she has got metastasis in her brain.
So, get her BP under control and in the meantime get a schedule for MRI brain.
