What Causes Diarrhoea And Intermittent Skin Lesions In Children?

Question: My son has hard round stool that has tons of sawdust looking particles, some clumped pieces of the sawdust stuff, patches of stringy things, patches of clearing muscus, along with things that look like pop corn kernels(he hasn't had any popcorn), and things that look like citrus particles, also flat yellow whit pieces of something. He has on and off diarrhea that is extremely foul smelling, also has all the different abnormal particles, and changes color, sometimes orange and a massive amount not runny but no formation, and other times greyish. He has also been waking up covered in red bumps, look like ant bites kinda. Tested for bed bugs and found none. He woke up last week with a pimple looking spot that had a black dot in the center and by that night it formed a hard knot underneath along with redness around it.

Brief Answer:
Thorough investigation is needed

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for the query

I can understand your concern. Thanks for providing such detailed history.
Apart from all these I would like to know his current height and weight to check whether he is growing properly or not,as most of the cases of chronic diarrhea usually fail to grow.
With keeping in mind diarrhea on and off and skin lesions I would like to get serological test done for celiac disease(Serum TTG and IgA level)along with routine test for stool for fat globules.
Also get complete hemogram done,as it can show low hemoglobin due to poor absorption and raised eosinophil count suggesting some allergic problem.
You have mentioned that you have images but I could not be able to find that.
So I request you to please provide details and attach the image so that I better able to help you out.
Regards

I uploaded pics of his record from labs he had drawn up a few years ago when I worried about it the first time it started, his current and past weights and bp's, along with his list of mess he takes and his diagnosis'. The others are his stool, bites, and cyst type things that came when it first started as well, and the ziplock a have recent foreign objects that were found in stool. He also has on and off urination containing clear crystals, a white powdery substance, and bead like things that look like the stuff inside time release capsule pills and non of his meds have those. Thank you
Oh I forgot to add that on the XXXXXXX I got for the labs drawn a few weeks ago this is what tests were listed as ran: urinalysis Auto w/o scope, cult bacter (stool), smear w/interp complex, ova & parasites smr, EIA;Shig like toxin

Brief Answer:
I would like to get Celiac disease's Serology done

Detailed Answer:
I have gone through the image. There are seven images and all showing same skin lesion.
To me it appears to be hypersensitive skin lesion.
The list of investigation you have mentioned is for acute causes but in your case there is history of altered bowel pattern for long duration. In such cases the malabsorption syndrome and celiac disease should be ruled out.I would again insist you to get celiac disease's serology done as the presentation of disease matches the symptoms and skin lesion.
The crystal like substance in urine in this age is usually excess of phosphate excretion in urine.
No specific treatment is needed for this.Give him plenty of water this will help in clearing the phosphate from urine.
