What Causes Delayed Periods And Spotting?

Question: My period was 6 days late I'm always very regular, have been trying to conceive for 18months now, I've had two days of very light bleeding/spotting. It stopped after 48 hours. My home pregnancy test shows a negative result?

Brief Answer: Repeat urine pregnancy test after 1 week Detailed Answer: Hi there.. Thanks for writing in. There are 2 possibilities.... Either this was your Periods, just that it was lighter flow. Or This could be Pregnancy with the spotting/light bleeding being implantation bleeding . I would advise you to get a urine pregnancy test done after a week.
