Starting with my left ear, and in my head, I hear a crackling noise. Some times I have a sound like running water on the left side and seems to crawl up my left sde of head. I have no headache, dizzness, etc.
Seems to be age related deafness (sensorineural)
I had gone through your question and understand your concerns that you are having crackling noise in ear.
Based on your clinical details, it (sounds) appears to be age related deafness.
With ageing, the nerve responsible for hearing can go for degeneration, which causes tinnitus (sounds in ear) and hearing loss.
I suggest you to to consult ent surgeon and get detailed ent examination, audiometry (type and degree of hearing loss). depending on the examination reports further treatment is required accordingly.
Hope this answers your question, if you have additional questions or follow up questions then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your questions.
Wishing you good health.
seems to be nutritional deficiencies
Thanks for considering my answer and for your follow up.
It could be due to neuralgia, often caused by cervical (neck) arthritis or neuropathy secondary to nutritional deficiencies (iron, folic acid, serum calcium serum electrolytes).
I suggest you to go ahead for audiometry and blood tests for nutritional deficiencies to rule out the exact cause.
Mean time, take multivitamin with zinc daily one tab, with good balance nutritious diet.
Hope, I have answered your query.
