Brief Answer:
likely to be due to Hyper reactive airway

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Dear XXXX

If the baby is not having fever and is gaining weight adequately then it's unlikely to be serious.
The cause of his symptoms is likely to be due to

1. Persistent Hyper reactivate of airway

2. Presence of residual infection

3. Rare possibility of Tuberculosis to considered.

As I can see from drugs being given there are lot of drugs which are empirically given, I would definitely not recommended routine use of Omnacortil which is steroid.

I would suggest you the following

1 Chest X ray ; It is important to get chest X ray as baby is been having symptoms since 1 month

2. Reconsider medicine to be given in consultation with your Pediatrician

3. Normal Saline Nasal drops will be helpful

4. Plain a normal saline Nebulization

5. Complete blood count

6. If symptoms still persist Tuberculin test in consultation with Pediatrician

Do keep me updated

Wishing him great health

Brief Answer:
Consult Respiratory Physician

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dear XXXX

Budecort is Steroid which is used as inhalational steroid. Even though the absorption into circulation is low ,it still gets absorbed. Long term use in babies is not advisable unless specifically indicated.
Levolin is a bronchidilator ,it is less likely to cause any significant side effects.

I would suggest you the following

1. Get an opinion from Pediatric Respiratory Medicine Physician

2. Repeat Chest X ray

3. Consider Tuberculin test in consultation with Pediatrician, especially in view of fluctuating weight

4. Use normal Saline Nebulization

5. Normal Saline Nasal drops

Take care

Best regards
Dr Deepak
