What Causes Constipation, Stomach Pain, Gas, Constant Headache And Fever?
Question: I have had constipation the last 3 days. Finally had a BM today. I'm experiencing stomach pains in the center of my stomach (burning) and also on the lower right near the belt line (cramping). I've been passing gas a lot today. I've also had a constant headache the last 3 days (taking Aleve) And last but not least I have a fever. Plus I feel a bit disoriented, especially when moving my eyes for side to side. I've taken Mylanta, Pepto, GasX, and sulcrafate. Still feeling crummy. If I didn't know any better I would think I had a virus. I was out of town Monday. There was a 12 piece KFC chicken planks my wife and I were eating. We were in our car, eating the chicken off and on. It'wasnt refrigerated. it was 4 hours before the chicken was gone. Hope you can help.
Brief Answer:
You most likley has gastritis!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.
I have reviewed your information fully. You most likely have gastritis. This is provoked and/or aggravated by the Aleve. I recommend you immediately stop ALeve. Take omeprazole 40mg daily for 1week, then 20mg daily for the next 1week. As a general rule, avoid drugs such as Aleve, naproxen, advil, etc as they tend to be aggressive to the stomach. Add tylenol for any fever and aches. Take 1000mg every 8hours for 2days.
I hope this guides and helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me for more information and clarifications if need be.
