Question: I have started taking amlopress at 50 on medical advice, buti am facing constipation problem now, pl advice

Amlopress contains Amlodipine and Constipation is a common side effect of that. I advise you to take plenty of water, eat more of vegetables and fruits .

If constipation persists you can use Syrup Lactulose in the night for few days ( Ask your doctor for the prescription ) But if the Constipation is recurring then better chance your Blood pressure medicines to something which doesn't have this side effect. for example Telmisartan.
