Brief Answer:
Needs proper investigations to find cause.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
Pain abdomen in the lower left quadrant which is persistent for 3 weeks seems to be intraperitoneal in nature. The following are the possibilities
1) Acute Gastrointestinal infection
2) Sexual transmitted disease
3) Intra abdominal pathology like urinary calculi
Ultrasound Abdomen is definitely indicated. Consider getting an X ray chest too as lower left lung lesions can lead to similar pain abdomen as in you.
You should see a doctor for proper investigations. Till then check if there is an over the counter antispasmodic available with your pharmacist. Take them after taking fluid diet, three times a day.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
