Brief Answer:
Continue medication for couple of days, see Dr, check for Polymyalgia

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for the query,

I understand how frustrating having body aches could be. However, Advil and Tyenol are appropriate for pain control.

Indeed, it is not rare to have such pains after surgery. Persistence of these pains for over two weeks is concerning. It would require that your doctor dos a complete physical exam to exclude an infection or a chronic inflammatory disease. At 50 especially for females, Polymyalgia Rheumatica could present as such. Pain and weakness at the shoulder and pelvic areas, with mild fevers at times are usually seen.

I would suggest you tak the medication you are taking for a couple of days again. If pain remains same, you might need to see your doctor for a full blood count (Check for infection), C reactive protein and Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rat for Inflammation. These parameters are most of the time, though not always, raised in this condition.

Kind regards as I wish you the best of health. Please, do feel free asking any specific questions in case of need.
