What Causes Colon To Have A Greenish Appearance?

Question: my daughter just had a colon test now another one today but she had pictures of her colon and I saw that part of it was green very concerned thanks for your thoughts on this

Well first of all I need to ask you whether a proper bowel preparation was done or not because just presence of Stools in the colon can give it a greenish appearance.

Also the bile ( a digestive juice secreted by the liver can give a greenish appearance ) . So don't get panicked by the greenish appearance of the colon as it can be seen normally also.

Yes there are diseases like Infections , reduced blood flow to colon etc which can cause these appearance but the normal things has to be considered first.

Moreover didn't you get the report of the scan ? If yes kindly let me know the reports.
