Brief Answer:
erosion or mid cycle spotting

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ms XXXXXXX thanks for trusting health care magic.
Yes get Pap smear test and per speculum examination.
It is most likely cervical erosion only and thus evaluation and treatment is needed.
Another reason can be mid cycle spotting due sudden drop in estrogen levels just prior to ovulation.
In case your speculum examination and pap smear comes normal and this spotting pattern persists each cycle around ovulation time only then nothing to worry.
Mid cycle spotting is purely physiological and needs no treatment.
All the best

Brief Answer:
pap smear is must

Detailed Answer:
I understand your anxiety but pap smear should ideally be repeated after 6 months in case first one was done at the time of infection.
Yes new cancerous changes can errupt after 6 months in case missed in initial test.
Don't be scared it is a minor procedure and pain is only subjective because usually patients don't complain about unbearable pain.
You can take tablet drotin an hour before to allievate pain and thus feel comfortable.
Moreover if this smear comes normal then chances of malignancy and infection are all ruled out.
So just stop being anxious about it and I wish you all the best.

Brief Answer:
nothing to worry now

Detailed Answer:
Ho dear, good to hear that your cervical erosion has not come back.
Now it is quire evident that either this is due to the mild spotting and infection observed on per speculum examination or simply physiological hormone changes.
Both the conditions are benign and thus nothing to worry.
Now you can relax.
Take care
