What Causes Chills, Muscle Spasms And Burning Sensation In The Temple?

default
Posted on Fri, 1 Jul 2016
Question: My 40-year-old female friend has had a number of symptoms for over four months now. Numerous blood tests and doctor's visits have been fruitless in determining the disease or narrowing it down at all. They're doing a mammogram soon, but full-body x-rays and CAT scans have not shown evidence of anything.

Symptoms include:
- full-body chills (she wears an insulated coat in direct sunlight)
- muscle contractions on both sides of the neck on the muscles that run from the shoulder up to the base of the jaw
- continual spasms all over her body
- joint aches
- burning sensation on her temples and scalp
- an inflamed corded area that bulges out slightly on her upper chest -- the corded area runs diagonally across her upper chest, from the inside edge of the clavicle down to the top of the breast area

Thanks,
XXXX
