Question: I had a dull chest pain that woke me and lasted or several hours. there were no other related symptoms. zz it's passed now - should i go to the er? it's passed now - should i go to the er?

The pain you are describing isn't typical for cardiac problems (it lasted several hours). However i recommend to go to the ER to exclude other life threatening conditions.

If you were my patient I would suggest to do the following examinations to exclude lifethreatening conditions:
- ECG
- Chest X ray
- Abdominal ultrasound
- Cardiac enzymes, D dimmer and pancreatic enzymes.
