Question: i went to kaiser .Because when i would urinate it would burn. , pressure on my pelvic . a little bloated, lower back pain , an my left side hurt front an my left back side, he put me oncipofloxacin 500 mg ,i went saturday an today is friday, the pain is not is bad , its alittle bit better but still have a little burning when urinate. my vagina is little sensitive.what is still wrong

Ciprofloxacin is an excellent antibiotic and generally won't work very well for a typical urinary tract infection.

Since we're still having some symptoms it is possible that bacteria which caused your infection may be resistant to the ciprofloxacin.for this reason you might need a different antibiotic.

I would contact your doctor and let him know that you're still having symptoms and he may provide a different antibiotic for you.
