Question: Hi I have a bright red ring around my left armpit.I am a 67 year old female and am in good health

Probably you have developed a fungal infection.
You description matches with that.
I usually prescribed ointment clotrimazole in night and clotrimazole powder to be applied in day for 15 days. I have seen very good response with this.
